Welcome to the online Home of a facinating online ministry known as...

Our Internet labors are dedicated to helping good Gospel
ministries to establish their ministries online with as little expense
as possible.
The purpose of this page is to introduce you to some of the Internet Sites
we were privileged to serve. From December 1995 to the present we have
enjoyed millions of unique hits for the combined pages of Sound of
Grace and Piper's Notes. Each day vistors to our pages come from all over
the globe to read the biblically based content we have helped bring to
the Internet. We are most humbled to be used of our Lord in this manner.
Some of the web sites that we have helped to develope and actively maintain:
Websites that we designed but no longer maintain:
Through the use of shared menus many of the ministries for whom we labor
are able to take advantage of one or more of the following email and web
based communication services that we have helped make available to the
Christian Internet community:
A brief history of how we ended up in this mess (grin).
Moe Bergeron was blessed to obtain from John Piper all the sermons our
brother had saved to diskette from mid-1984 to 1993. Two of the years,
1984 and 1985, were published as compiled eBooks* in both DOS and Windows
formats. Later when the Internet provided the opportunity to enlarge the
audience for Dr. Piper's sermons, Moe contacted brother Piper and introduced
him to the potential of Piper's Notes. Thanks to John Piper, the rest is,
as we say, "history." Our thanks must also go out to Fred &
Marveen who worked very hard with a flatbed page scanner and OCR software
to scan all the older printed sermons by Dr. John Piper into text files.
After scanning the pages, they tidied up all the text by cleaning up what
the OCR software could not do perfectly. With that completed, they added
the much needed HTML coding into each individual text file and forwarded
the files, by email, to Maurice Bergeron. Moe then linked the files together
with more HTML and, at last, published them to the web site for your enjoyment.
Additional words of appreciation go to Ruth McNeese for her labor of love
in editing and translating a good many of Piper's sermons to HTML. Ruth
is also actively involved in editing pages for our new online commentary
project. Our thanks also go out to Paul Mikulecky who designed and contributed
Piper's Notes' desk graphic. Visit Paul's site at Lost Pencil Animation Studios Inc. We can't forget to thank the good brethren at Bethlehem Baptist Church
and Desiring God Ministries (Justin, Rich, Bob, Jon, & Ross) for keeping
us up to date with John Piper's sermons. They are a great bunch of brethren!
*(These programs eventually found their way into the freeware and shareware
CD market. I'm told that they were published on at least three different
CDs. Imagine that!)
On the Sound of Grace side of things we are grateful for Sound of Grace
for the resources which we now use to host both the Sound of Grace and
Piper's Notes. Many thanks go to brother John G. Reisinger and Jacob Moseley
for all of their help.
Apart from our web labors there is nothing that unifies all of the above
mentioned ministries except for our love and appreciation for each of their
respective ministries and for their shared love of God and the Gospel of
Jesus Christ. It is also true that they all share a common Baptist heritage
and a love for the Doctrines of Grace but beyond those similarities, they
may, and do differ in some areas. Who doesn't?
Support
We are grateful for the resources our Lord has provided through the kind and generous brethren who helped to make this ministry possible.
We highly value your prayers. Would you pray for the many people that our Lord has moved to visit our
various web pages and online services? Not too long ago it was unheard
of to reach so many for so little. Praise our Lord Jesus Christ!
To all of the Friends of the John Bunyan Internet Ministry we thank you
for your continued prayers, love and support.
